Untiefe is the independent software studio of Robert Freese, based in Stralsund on Germany’s Baltic coast.
“Untiefe” is a German word with two opposing meanings: a shallow shoal and a great depth. The same word can take you close to the surface or far beneath it.
That’s a fitting idea for the software we want to make: approachable on the surface, with depth where it matters. Clear in its purpose, considered in its details.
